Hi, I’m Colin. I’m a registered counsellor/psychotherapist working in private practice.

I am a trauma-informed counsellor specialising in work with young and mature adults. I trained as a pluralistic counsellor, which simply means I can draw on different therapeutic approaches and work with you in the way that is likely to be most helpful to you.

If you are experiencing a phobia, trauma or post-traumatic stress disorder, I can offer a psychotherapeutic technique known as Rewind. This is a gentle and non-intrusive approach designed to help reduce distressing symptoms without requiring you to describe the traumatic experience in detail.

I understand that contacting a counsellor can feel like a significant step. You do not need to know exactly what to say or where to begin; we can work that out together.

Appointments can take place face-to-face, by telephone, online, or through a suitable blend of these. During our sessions, you will have the time and space to feel fully heard and understood. Together, we can develop insight into what has been happening, explore what you may need, and consider ways of moving forward.

I will work at your pace in a thoughtful, non-judgemental and empathic way. Counselling is shaped around you, your experiences and the goals that matter to you.
